If you are looking for a Christian creation science based preschool curriculum that is helpfully structured, then Answers for Preschoolers is a good choice.
This preschool homeschool program is licensed from Alpha Omega and is pretty much that same as the Horizons Preschool Program. The main difference we found is that the Teacher's Manual is printed in two columns. My daughter and her friend are using this for their preschool boys. Both of them liked the two-column format better because they said it was easier to follow.

Answers for Preschoolers has 180 hands-on daily lessons in these subjects: Bible, social studies, language arts, math, phonics, and science. This curriculum affirms the truth of the Bible and uses the book of Genesis as the basis of helping precious children to know God's love. Other subjects include health and safety, music, arts and crafts, and physical education. It is a flexible curriculum and can be adapted to any schedule for use in a homeschool or classroom. Several of these albums are ones we used when our oldest children were young. We loved the Music Machine and Bullfrogs and Butterflies. (Bullfrogs and butterflies, both been born again...I love that song.) Our grandchildren are listening to them now.
Though we are a musical family, I do believe that listening to excellent music is important to musical training for anyone. Most of our children are involved or have been involved with worship teams at their churches. We think it is important to start that training early. |
