Need help with your high school science curriculum? DIVE into Science CDs may be the answer. There are DIVE into Science CDs that coordinate with BJU Physical World, BJU Biology, Apologia Chemistry and BJU Chemistry, and Saxon Physics . These can also be used with other science textbooks, but you will have to coordinate the Dive topic to the textbook lesson. The Physical World DIVE CD coordinates with Physical World from Bob Jones University Press. It includes interactive video labs.

"Physical World DIVE CD (9th grade science ) is designed to be used with Bob Jones University's Physical World textbook. The CD contains 29 lessons that cover the following topics:

• Chemistry (Matter, unit analysis, scientific notation, atomic structure, using the periodic table, atomic bonds, naming compounds, naming and balancing chemical equations, solutions, acid/base theory)
• Physics (energy, momentum, velocity and acceleration, Newton's laws, gas laws, work and simple machines, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, sound, electromagnetic spectrum, and light).

"Over 300 review questions are also provided to ensure that the student is understanding the most important concepts contained within each lesson. Review questions include problem solving, essay, fill in the blank, multiple choice, and true/false."

The Biology DIVE CD 3rd edition is designed to help you get organized with your teaching of science. It contains digital whiteboard lectures on biology topics that students typically have trouble understanding. Students are required to take notes off of the lectures, which gives them good preparation for college courses where taking good notes can mean the difference in passing or failing.

How DIVE Into Science Works

Students see and hear everything the instructor is writing and saying on a whiteboard on their computer screen. It is just like being in a real classroom, except there is no teacher in the way. Students learn by working practice problems that are similar, but not identical to the practice problems in the text. Lessons are 10-20 minutes long (doesn't count the time it takes to work practice problems). If students need more practice, they can work the problems in the text in addition to the DIVE problems explained on the CD. Easily re-wind, fast-forward, and pause with the click of a mouse. Each lesson is stored as an individual file so it is easy to choose the proper lecture.

"All DIVE CDs are taught from a Christian perspective, with an emphasis on science as a tool for studying God's creation. Dr. Shormann's Christian testimony is on every CD and many lessons start with an encouraging Bible verse.

• System Requirements: Windows 98 or greater, speakers, CD drive, and a printer (for DIVE Science).

Very Important Notes About Choosing Correct Edition of DIVE
