Easy Grammar Curriculum

If you want your student to be well grounded in grammar, then I suggest that you use the Easy Grammar curriculum at least one year in the upper
elementary grades and then again in junior high or senior high. It's a good choice for teaching grammar because it is easy for both the home teacher and the
student to use. The students master the material because each lesson focuses on one topic at a time for mastery. If your students are a year or two apart you
might place them in the same level.
 One
daughter wasn't getting capitalization despite my personalized tutoring in English! Frustrated with the typical textbook, I gave her Easy Grammar and
started with the section on capitalization. When she finished the lessons, it is no exaggeration to say that she understood them and was able to correctly
capitalize words in her own writing with 95% accuracy.
Easy Grammar Information
It was chosen by homeschool expert and author Cathy Duffy as on of her "100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum" in the Language Arts: Grammar and Composition category.
- The Teacher’s Text has answers plus student pages for copying. The student page is on the right hand side of the book. The same page is shown on the left side of the with with the filled in answers. Buy the Student workbook if you don't want to make your own copies.
- EG Teacher Texts and Student Workbooks are available at each grade level.
- The student work pages in the Teacher's Texts are reproducible for student use.
- Tests come in a separate test booklet at each grade level.
- Tests are also available in the teacher text and they are reproducible.
