Exploring Creation with Physical Science is
designed to be the last science course the student takes before high school
biology. Thus, it is generally recommended as an 8th grade course to be taken in
the same year as Pre-algebra.
However, if your student was recently in public school, he or she might need
to wait until 9th grade to use it. The course discusses The following
topics: earth's atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere. It also covers details
on weather, motion, Newton's Laws, gravity, the solar system, atomic structure,
radiation, nuclear reactions, stars, and galaxies. (No lab
kit needed.)
Compared to the previous edition, the new second edition of
physical science has:
- More color photographs and higher quality drawings
- More experiments, with revisions of original
experiments to make them more interesting and easier to perform
- Online resources for advanced students give them access
to advanced subject matter
- An appendix containing review questions for the entire
course. Answers to these questions are found in the Solutions and Test
Manual which is included in the Physical Science Set.

Note for co-ops and schools: Because of the differences
between the first and second editions, your students must all have the same
version. Students in a group setting cannot use both versions.

manual, which contains answers to module study guides, tests, and test
solutions. Shrink-wrapped with the solutions and tests manual is a booklet
containing an extra set of tests. B&W.
