The Literature Approach to Geography, History, and Science guide utilizes the Holling
classics Paddle-to-the-Sea, Tree in the Trail, Minn of the
Mississippi, and Seabird. This award-winning course covers three
main geographic regions of the United States, as well as a basic
introduction to world geography. The guide enables the teacher to lay this
program out for a one year study in social science incorporating geography,
map-making skills, research projects, history and science. Additional
reading suggestions are included in the guide. This guide is designed to be
used with the map pack featured below. 3rd - 7th grades. See Geography
