Homeschool Planners, Journals, and Records
There are several choices for homeschool planners and journals that can also be used by the student as a daily planner.
It's nice to have a record whether you have to keep a daily log in your state or not. Since we are required to keep a daily log, a portfolio, evaluations, and
test scores in Pennsylvania, I have a box for each child to store those items. I like the boxes that reams of paper come in because they have a nice fitted lid.

Student Record Books are
available to record your lesson progress. These can be used as your homeschool
journal for record keeping.
The Ultimate Homeschool Planner

With a beautifully designed plastic cover, the Ultimate Homeschool Planner is
a planning system designed by homeschool expert Debra Bell. It can be used
alone, but it is suggested that you also give your students their own
planners the coordinate with this one. The
Ultimate Daily Planner for Students is
for students in 4th to 8th grade and the
Ultimate Weekly Planner is for Teens who
are in grades 7-12. The goal of this system is to help your students take on more responsibility for their planning and scheduling. It is Christian based
with inspirational quotes scattered throughout. The pages are formatted with the same pleasant color scheme as the cover. It's a nice break from the
traditional cut and dry teacher planners. You can see for yourself if you look at the sample that is available online. I like the 6-day weekly
planning pages and separate Lord's Day pages which feature sections for Bible Plan, Battle Plan, Prayer, and Hospitality/Outreach. There is a weekly
page for journaling. You can start anytime of the year as the pages are undated and generic. Looking at the Table of Contents will give you a better
idea of all the parts of this planner. A very helpful sample and the Table of contents is available in PDF format at the publisher's website.
