Learn about the proud history of Illinois, its geography, economy, people and interesting sites. Illinois The Prairie State carefully follows the curriculum guidelines issued by the Illinois State Department of Education for both Illinois history and Illinois geography.

Illinois the Prairie State Student Textbook
This book fosters strong ecumenical Christian values. It is particularly suitable for students in grades 5 through 7 (ages 10 through 12) depending upon ability.
The author recommends that the student should be required to make an Illinois notebook. The notebook can include completed activities, maps, and other pertinent information. The student can also create a cover, title page, table of contents and index.

Illinois the Prairie State Student Tests
The Student Tests booklet includes tests for each chapter. Answers to the test questions are in the Teacher's Guidebook.
It has ten chapter tests and is reproducible by the teacher for classroom use.
