Twelve incidents in the Resistance against the Enchanter, in which residents of the enchanted City are rescued by the King or his followers as they strive for the Restoration of the Kingdom.

Each chapter in Tales of the Resistance has one full color full page illustration (one chapter has a double page one.)  In addition, there are one or two black and white illustrations in each chapter that are "clipped" from the full color illustration for that chapter.  The illustrations are by Jack Stockman, the original illustrator.

I've been told it doesn't have all the illustrations of the first edition, but the folks who have purchased it have been pleased with the book and the price.
