Tales of the Kingdom Series and Lamplighter Illustrated Books
Allegorical tales of the kingdom for children were written by David and Karen Mains. Wonderful illustrations! Each book in the series is a hardcover edition
that has been re-published by the folks at Lamplighter. The books are 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Each cover is the full color laminated with plastic hardcover--very lovely and durable.
We are happy to see that Tales of the Restoration is back in print in time for Christmas.

Twelve incidents in the Resistance against the Enchanter, in which residents of the enchanted City are rescued by the King or his followers as they strive for the Restoration of the Kingdom.
Each chapter in Tales of the Resistance has one full color full page illustration (one chapter has a double page one.) In addition, there are
one or two black and white illustrations in each chapter that are "clipped" from the full color illustration for that chapter. The illustrations are by Jack Stockman, the original illustrator.
I've been told it doesn't have all the illustrations of the first edition, but the folks who have purchased it have been pleased with the book and the price. Hardcover |
