Spelling Power Student BooksI recommend using the student notebook to start when you are learning the system. It’s easier. Reproducible forms are found in your teacher's manual, but Spelling Power Student Student Books are handy and cost effective. All the forms are printed in light blue. That helps to make your student's handwriting stand out. It is bound and all the student Below are recommended grade levels for selecting the proper student record book. I think the bottom line is to make the decision based on the normal size of your student's handwriting and whether the half-dot lines are needed.

Our
children enjoyed giving each other the daily tests, though I would suggest that you have the test giver read the word list to you prior to the test-to make sure the pronunciation is correct!
With the tests, our students learned that each word has a correct spelling and learned it. Overall we saw major long term improvements in their spelling skills. We highly recommend this program.
