The three volumes of the Lyrical Life Science provide one year's worth of science. Lyrical Earth Science Geology is a supplement to your earth science study. It is designed for ages 9 to 15, but of course younger children can be included. High school students can use this as a supplement. The curriculum does not include teaching on evolution, but stays focused on the scientific facts.

Each text is illustrated and clarifies, amplifies, and reinforces science concepts learned through the songs. Also included in each book is the sheet music, including guitar chords, for each melody. You are allowed to make copies of the worksheets and lyric sheets for your personal or family use.

The text and lyrics were written by Doug Eldon, a science teacher. Musician Bobby Horton plays all the instruments on CD. You'll hear a variety of instruments including: guitar, violin, tuba, trumpet, mandolin, banjo and cello. Maybe in addition to science, you can count this towards music appreciation!
