the Horizons Math Teacher’s Guides. Now you can purchase them as a complete set."
"The Horizons Math Readiness Evaluation helps to determine where a new student should begin in the program. Instructions for scoring and
evaluating the test results are given on the answer key pages. The test for each level should take from 30 to 60 minutes. Students should be able to complete the
tests on their own as long as they understand the activity directions. The first grade test is given orally with special instructions for scoring. Begin testing
students one level above their current level. The successful completion of a test indicates that the student has sufficient background in math to begin the
Horizons program at that level." |
