Reasons to Use Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum

Save During Our Paradigm Curriculum Sale!

We are pleased to offer the home school curriculum from Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum.  We have tried all of them--except the new Industrial Skills.   My children and I are happy with the results!  Customers who use this curriculum usually return to try another of the Paradigm subjects to teach their children at home.

Here are some of the reasons we chose to use Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum.

  1. Your student needs to learn to read a text and answer questions pertaining to the reading.
I suggest using any of the Paradigm courses.  In my opinion, their curriculum is outstanding for that purpose alone.  Every lesson begins with an engaging vignette or narrative.  Vocabulary words are highlighted in the text and defined in Vocabulary boxes.
  2. You used unit studies or the real books approach and your older student needs to know how to answer the different types of questions that are found in typical college courses.
Paradigm's curriculum uses fill in the blank, multiple choice, true-false, matching, etc.
  3. You want a curriculum that is interesting, and motivational.
You will appreciate this principle-based core curriculum.  In each lesson there is a character building life principle.
  4. You have a late bloomer who is ready to catch up academically.
Try at least one of the Paradigm subjects.  For starters, I'd probably choose the subject in which your child is most likely to succeed.  Once your child is accustomed to Paradigm's method and likes it, you can add other subjects.
  5. You want a curriculum that is structured, academically sound, and easy to oversee.
Paradigm helps your secondary level student do more work on his own and promotes you to overseer and not spoon-feeder [at this point, that should be the curriculum's job]!  "The simplified course structure enables students to comprehend content with ease."  After all, isn't one of our goals in homeschooling to teach our children to be independent and self motivated--once we have taught them the basics?
  6. You want a curriculum that explains the topic in a way that the student understands.
I asked our daughter who has used almost all of the Paradigm subjects what she liked most about it.  She said, "It explains everything thoroughly.  I understood what I was learning.  I actually learned it."  This daughter is the one who impressed my mother, a former high school/college English teacher, with her knowledge of English after using three years of Paradigm's English.
  7. You have an advanced middle school students who needs the skills that are mentioned above.
My sister, the physician and mother of academic geniuses, used Paradigm Integrated Chemistry and Physics (Grade 9-12) with her 7th grader.  She gave me a rave review!

You can see curriculum samples at the publisher's website.
