God's Design for Chemistry Curriculum
Mini-Review by Harriet Yoder
Written in the same format as the
God's Design for Science
Series, these two guides are a great introduction to chemistry for
grades 3-7. This is a much needed program since the teaching of
chemistry is usually put off until high school (except for a general lesson here
and there.) It is written from a creation science perspective.
I would suggest using books with color
photographs or videos to supplement this curriculum. It's easy to find resource books
and even science videos in your local library, or you can use the money
you save on this series to purchase them for your home library!
Series Overview
"This is a complete chemistry curriculum for homeschoolers in grades 3-7. This
series will help you teach your child about the matter and molecules that make
up our world. Have fun as you learn about the tools of science, the scientific
method, and the periodic table. Explore acids, bases, and salts, and have fun as
you learn about food chemistry in the kitchen. This series will show how God
designed the world to be orderly and beautiful."
