Singapore Discovering Mathematics Curriculum Grades 7 to 10
Singapore Math® Discovering Mathematics Curriculum Grades 7 to 10
Placement Tests are available to help place your student in the appropriate level.
For use in grades 7 to 10, this series "integrates pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry and includes some trig and advanced math topics. Teacher involvement is recommended."
Textbooks, Teachers' Guides, Workbooks, Workbook Teacher's Guides, and Question Banks are available in this series. The textbooks in this series are formatted in the same manner. Each chapter has features such as opener, activities, examples, exercises, and more. In the right margin are features that enhance the lessons. The format is colorful, pleasing, and not
over busy which is a plus for visual students.
May 2013 Update
- Most of the components of
Level 2 are available again in May 2013. We will
have them in stock in the coming week.
- Levels 1 and 2 of Discovering Mathematics are being
discontinued. Singapore Math is replacing them with the new Discovering Mathematics Common Core Standards Series 7 and
Level 8 for grades 7
and 8.
- AAll of the components are available for Level 7 A and 7 B.
- Level 8 A and 8 B components should be available in
summer of 2013.
Levels 3 and 4 will remain the same at this time./h3>
The main differences in the new Common Core Standards edition is the
addition of the topics that apply to the CCS. It looks like the topics may
be moved around a bit, but all of the material covered in the DM
Levels 1 and 2 will still be covered in the new CCS Levels 7 and 8.
This level is being discontinued and replaced with
Singapore Math® Discovering Mathematics Common Core Series Level 7A and
Level 7B.
Discovering Mathematics 1 Question Bank
Teachers can use Question Bank 1 to make questions for the student.
(Obviously, it is not a book for students since each question is followed by a fully worked solution.) There are about 30 questions for each chapter. A
suggested difficulty level is suggested for each question. In 2013, this book is being replaced with Discovering Mathematics CCS Question Banks 7A and 7B. Grade 7 |
