Six programs in one--reading, writing, phonics, spelling, speaking, and comprehension, Winning was created for students who need fresh start. Based on research, Winning was specifically developed for older students. The learn-to-read phonics songs on the six cassettes provide rock, rap, country, and jazz music.  The four student books contain all the lessons to take students from step one to independent reading.  The program contains 1,750 spelling words and 70 correlated learn-to-read stories written especially for this age group.  Manuscript and cursive writing lessons, word comprehension tests, story comprehension test and a special life skills section are included.
